Killer Shrimp is a unique restaurant concept that has a 20-year history of success serving one item, our signature dish, Killer Shrimp. THE VENUE
Killer Shrimp is located in the historic Marina Del Rey Harbor and boasts 5,000 square feet of dining fantasy. Every one of our 240 seats, intimate booths and family-style tables offer jaw-dropping waterfront views. Boaters love our 300 feet of public boat docking, making us the only “dock and dine“ destination in the city. The Harbor Patio features outdoor seating with glass enclosures, cozy heaters and date-worthy ambiance. The ultimate alternative to the standard hotel banquet room, Killer Shrimp offers incredible Special Event accommodations for everything from corporate banquets to gatherings for close friends and family. The Marilyn Lounge features sneaky VIP privacy, filled with rat-pack high-back booths, vintage photography and loungy intimacy with room for live musical entertainment for up to 101 guests. THE FOOD
Killer Shrimp is prepared using the finest natural ingredients and simmered for 10 hours, and this creates our luxurious spicy sauce. When your order is placed, the shrimp are added to the sauce and cooked quickly. Your order is rushed to your table piping hot and served with French bread for dipping. The menu inspires food addicts with traditional family recipes (The Original Killer Shrimp) as well as mouth-watering fresh seafood, steak, salad and soup options. THE BAR
The Killer Shrimp Bar’s huge scale and 7 massive flat-screens give guests front-row love for sporting events and an incredible waterfront view. From supercalls to specialty smashes, the famed drink mixologist Marcos Tello tantalizes thirsty taste buds for $10 or less with custom creations using fresh juices, homemade syrups and crushed herbs served over ice pearls. The Bar Menu covers everything from 12-tap beers on draft, domestic and imported bottled beers, and fine wine by the bottle or glass. OUR HISTORY
Despite all the community love, Killer Shrimp’s family values go way back. Creator Lee Michaels (Kevin’s dad) first made the infamous dish at home when the kids were young. In the 23 years since, father and son have placed top priority on three things: preserving the quality of the original secret recipe, delivering over-the-top customer service and keeping prices affordable. “We’re the only restaurant in the area perfect for bringing the whole family out for surf ‘n turf, drinks and dessert without the bill coming to an offensive number,” Kevin quips. Sensitive to the economic pinch on the wallet, throwback original-priced specials like The Original Killer Shrimp dish for $9.95 (every Monday in the bar only) mark Killer Shrimp’s heart for loyal fan’s addictions.
